Hotel Collingwood BW Signature Collection – Hotel near airport in Bournemouth

The hotel had rooms that were exceptionally hot when we arrived, making it feel freezing at first, but they quickly warmed up with only a small window for ventilation. Parking was not included and charged at £10 per day. The staff were all very friendly and efficient, ready to assist, although there was an issue with the bathroom bin not being emptied from the previous guests. The location was excellent, near the town and beach access, with convenient amenities nearby. The dining experience was good, with plenty of choices, although some felt it needed an update for the price paid. The hotel had nice decor and own parking at the back, but some parts were considered dirty. Overall, it offered a great location and friendly service but lacked some dining variety and initial room comfort.

Stayed in a family suite with two separate bedrooms but only one en suite available through the main bedroom, slightly underwhelming initial room impression compared to the front of the house. The service from the staff was wonderful, with just a few minor language misunderstandings regarding dietary requirements. The location was excellent, just a 3-minute walk to the cinema and town, offering modern and attractive furniture. The dining experience, while good with first-class food, could have been improved by extending operating hours. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few minor hiccups.
